I was hoping for a more realistic look for the bark, like a poplar or something, buuut i got lazy and didn't want to work to hard on it so I just drew some nice lines.

Well it still looks great, I have a sketch book that teaches some really awesome techniques for shading bark and other textured things like bricks etc. If you want to borrow it and dont already own it then I will let you borrow it. If you want it.
